Chives, leeks and Onions - the Alliums Family
--Alliums include onions, garlic, leeks, shallots, chives, and others

They Help:
fruit trees, nightshades (tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, etc), brassicas (cabbage, broccoli, kohlrabi, etc) carrots. Onions planted with strawberries help the berries fight disease.

They Are Helped By:
Planting chamomile and summer savory with onions improves their flavor. Intercropping onions and leeks with your carrots confuses the carrot and onion flies!
To the left are Asian or Garlic Chives

Action:
Repels / Distracts - slugs, aphids, carrot fly, cabbage worms
Avoid Growing with:
beans, peas, parsley, except peas can be grown with garlic.
